During a routine home watch visit, we detected an odor at one of our client's properties.

👃 We used our portable gas detector, which lit up quickly, confirming that a gas leak was present. We immediately turned off the gas and contacted the utility company.  They discovered a loose fitting, often caused by thermal expansion and contraction from temperature changes. It's more common than you'd think! ✅

This is exactly why recurring home watch visits are important, especially when a property is  unoccupied.💥 

Our client was grateful that we were there to catch this issue before it became a serious problem. 🙏
